Customers do not buy capability. They buy the ability to stop thinking about a task. A robot that needs human intervention every twentieth cycle has not removed the human; it has just made the human's job more boring and more unpredictable.

This is why ApexX measures itself on mean time between interventions, not on peak capability in a highlight reel. The goal is unattended operation, and that goal is unforgiving.

Getting from 95% to 99.9% reliability is harder than getting to 95% in the first place. It means handling the long tail of weird situations: the dropped pallet, the unexpected pedestrian, the sensor blinded by sunlight.

We treat that long tail as the actual engineering problem, because for the customer, it is the only one that matters.
